Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book my senior session?
It’s best to book at least a month out to get the date you want. Summer and Fall senior sessions book much faster than Spring and Fall sessions. The sooner the better to get the date and time you want!

What’s the easiest way to book a session with LaTour Design?
The fastest way to book is to call us at 414-467-9525. You can also request a time and date via our website on the contact us page.

Do you offer studio and/or outdoor portrait sessions?
Both! All senior sessions start at the studio for some formal shots and then we head outside to capture some fun, candid, beautiful images. Having both studio and outdoor shots as part of the session sets LaTour Design apart from other local photographers.

Where do you recommend going for outdoor portraits?
All of our sessions are custom and tailored to what the client wants. Do you want urban shots? A boho type session? Do you want the session to take place in the woods? Near water? It’s up to you! We will discuss what your style is at our consultation before the session.

What happens if it’s raining?
If it’s a few drops, on and off, we will keep shooting. If it’s storming or raining hard, we will reschedule or go back to the studio. It’s a decision that is made together.

What will my senior portrait session be like?
We really love our sessions to be as unique as the people we are photographing. We will work together prior to your session to come up with something perfect for you, the perfect setting, activity, or location to tell your story. There are no limitations on wardrobe changes for full sessions.Please plan on arriving 10 minutes early for your session. There are always last minute details to take care of (makeup to touch up, flyaway hairs to tame) and it’s best to have a cushion of time so these things won’t take up our shooting time. The senior sessions are scheduled for two hours.

My skin is breaking out! What can you do to help that?
Nobody has perfect skin, but LaTour Design has you covered. One thing that really separates us from other photographers is our editing skills you’ll get on every pose you order. Many studios use software that basically mushes and blurs up your skin. But our retouching is done completely by hand, ensuring you have perfectly natural skin that’s completely free of zits, bumps, lines and other imperfections.

How long will it take to get my prints and products?
We want to make sure that all of the images you choose are absolutely perfect. Finished images will be ready in about three-four weeks. At LaTour Design, more time is spent editing and finishing your images than is spent taking the photographs. In order to achieve this level of quality, our team of retouchers and printers does whatever it takes to produce photographic excellence you won’t find anywhere else.

Can I buy digital files?
Why would you want to pay for them when you can get them for free! Every portrait you order, from wallets to wall size, comes with a digital file suitable for sharing at no extra cost. That way all your friends and family can see your portraits on your social media platforms. You also have an option to buy additional low resolution files at an additional cost. Poses you don’t order from are not finished or retouched, so of course they are not available.

LaTour Design offers the very best print images you can get. We understand that digital files do not last, but prints stand the test of time. You have photos of your parents, grandparents, even great-grandparents, because somebody made a print. And your senior portraits made by LaTour Design will be enjoyed by you and your family for decades to come!
